On the morning of May 28, 2012, Songjiang Industrial Zone held a grand ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Songjiang Industrial Zone. The celebration began in the song and dance suite of "entering the new era". First of all, Wu Jianming, director of the management committee and Secretary of the Party committee of Songjiang Industrial Zone, made a report on the development of the industrial zone in the past 20 years. Songjiang Industrial Zone has become an important industrial development base in Shanghai.
In the celebration, Songjiang Industrial Zone awarded five awards respectively for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the industrial zone, including "excellent enterprise employees, excellent developers and builders, scientific and technological innovation leaders, excellent operators, and outstanding contribution enterprises". It commended 40 individuals and 10 enterprises. Wang Fuxiang, the company's president, won the "excellent operators" award.
Sheng Yafei, Secretary of the CPC Songjiang District Committee, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. First of all, he congratulated the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Songjiang Industrial Zone and thanked the Chinese and foreign enterprises that have made support and contribution to the growth and development of Songjiang Industrial Zone in the past 20 years. He believes that in the past 20 years since its establishment, Songjiang Industrial Zone has made remarkable achievements from scratch, from small to large, from weak to strong. Songjiang Industrial Zone has become the main position and power source of "innovation driven, transformation and development" in Songjiang District, and has become one of the important advanced manufacturing bases in Shanghai and even in China.
